I’ve been writing online content since 2010, with a portfolio of over 3,000 online articles and a book.
My original football website Often Partisan became renowned for its work bringing insight into the travails of the Carson Yeung ownership of Birmingham City – even being mentioned on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as the reason for the final suspension of trading which helped bring about the end of an era.
As I shifted focus to research on football ownership, I founded almajir.net in 2016 to showcase my findings. Using open source journalism, I’ve been able to create deep dive pieces of investigative journalism that have consistently been praised by my peers in mainstream media.
Outside of my own websites, I work on a freelance basis with various clients looking for help with content research, development and creation.
